Accommodation

If you’re choosing to stay the night with us, we’ve got a few options for you. Basically though, cos it’s a youth hostel, it’s bunk beds and quite a few people in a room. We have the following rooms available, in a mix of en-suite and shared bathrooms:

 

• 6 two-bed rooms

• 30 four-bed rooms (the majority)

• 6 six-bed rooms

• 3 eight-bed rooms.

 

When you book your room, we will ask you to include the names of anybody you would like to share with. If you don’t really care that much and would just like to have a bed, you can leave this blank and you will be randomly assigned roommates.

If you book a room, it will be for the night of 31st October - 1st November 2026. If you want to book other days, you will need to speak to YHA York directly.

If you want a room to yourself, you'll need to buy all the beds in it. We don't offer any discounts for that.
