Venue
Our venue is YHA York, which is a Youth Hostel run by YHA (predictably enough). If you’re thinking “haven’t I seen a furry event running in a youth hostel before”, then no, no you have not, we are the only one to have ever done this, please do not look up ConFuzzled 2008/2009.
Anyway, you can look up more details on the place on their website above, but broadly speaking like, it’s a youth hostel, you know? It’s clean, it’s cheap, it’s not luxury but it’s pleasant enough.
Food & drink
The venue of course has a bar serving a range of alcoholic and soft drinks at pretty reasonable prices. We have been able to negotiate a limited food menu of bar snacks, pizza and the like for the evening, so you’ll be able to purchase those too.
If you’re staying the night, you’ll get breakfast in the morning too. I’ve no idea how good it is, I haven’t eaten breakfast at this place since I visited on a school trip in 2001.
There’s also takeaways and restaurants and stuff in York, it’s a city, it has your usual stuff.
